CIJDC offers numerous employee benefits for full-time and part-time employees, which allow our agency to compete in a very intense labor market, and attract the best and brightest candidates for employment.

Part Time Client Service Coordinator
Part-time employees are paid competitive per hour wages. CIJDC also pays part-time employees at 1.5 times the base pay rate for any hours worked over 40 per week and for all holidays. This can only be taken as pay, as no compensatory time is allotted for part-time employees.

CIJDC is flexible in scheduling in order to emphasize our commitment to education. We will work around your school schedule in order to provide you with an opportunity for work experience in conjunction with your class schedule. In the past, CIJDC employees have also been able to earn college credit throughout their employment by arranging a field experience through the proper collegiate channels. This credit can be earned in addition to the employee’s paycheck.

Additional part-time benefits include employee travel reimbursement (for required training opportunities) and IPERS (Iowa Public Employees Retirement System) payroll withholding.

Full Time Client Service Coordinator
Full-time employees start at a competetive base salary plus health insurance buy back dependent upon the health insurance plan they choose to participate in (single, family, or outside provider). In conjunction with the health insurance plan, full-time employees can elect to receive dental benefits as well. CIJDC also provides a life insurance investment for all full-time employees at no cost to the employee.

Full-time employees also receive 27 days of paid time off per year (18 hours per month) for vacation, personal time and personal illness. The amount of paid time off increases dependent upon years of service. Full-time employees also have the option of earning compensatory time whenever they work over 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the base pay rate, and can be accrued and used for additional time off or taken as pay. Holidays are also paid at 1.5 times the base pay rate and may be accrued as compensatory time or taken as pay.

Additional full time employee benefits include employee travel reimbursement (for required training opportunities), and IPERS (Iowa Public Employees Retirement System) payroll withholding.
